My Adventures in Alaska

This past summer I had the amazing opportunity to live in Alaska, working at a lodge right next to the Denali Nation Park. The job was trying, but the experience overall was unforgettable. I met and befriended so many people from all over the world, and I got to have so many adventures in the untamed wilderness. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent in that beautiful state.
Ok, enough talking. Time for pictures!
The sun didn't set until about 10:00pm when I first got there in May.
This was the hottest day that summer. We were all melting.

Why yes, that is a moose.

This picture was taken in Anchorage along a Costal Trail.

This was the lodge where I worked in Denali, Alaska.

This was the view I saw every evening outside my housing area. Not too shabby, wouldn't you agree?

I worked in Denali, but lived in Healy, which was a tiny town 11 miles away from the lodge.

Like I said, miles of untamed wilderness.

Behind me is the Nenana River, which ran near the lodge where we worked.

I love Alaska!

Flight tour around Mt. McKinley; elevation 21,000 feet.

Why yes, that is a reindeer. Ho, ho, ho.

A mushroom! Or, as they say in Bulgaria, guby.
